Not sure if I got the wrong smoothie as it tasted more like banana than greens.

Bottom Line

What we loved

  • Ordered at 10:10 and quoted a 30-minute wait; food arrived 25 minutes later.

  • Was planning to order to-go, glad was able to order in-room dining instead.

What we did not like

  • Variable pricing. I checked the menu from the QR code in the room, however, the prices charged were different. Not sure why they have not updated their menu documentation

  • 'Andaz Eggs' is pricey for the portion size. Would have preferred 4 slices of bacon (instead of 2), 3 slices of bread (instead of 1), and more fruit.

  • The food is hit or miss. The food ranges from awesome to bad.

  • Stay away from the chicken wings. They were horrid.

Verdict

We recently tried the in-room dining at this hotel, and while it had its moments, it was a bit of a mixed bag. We were pleased with the quick service – our food arrived in under 30 minutes. The Banana Crunch Pancakes and Matcha Latte were definite highlights, both delicious and well-prepared.

However, we were disappointed with the inconsistency in the food quality. The Andaz Eggs were overpriced for the small portion, and the chicken wings were downright inedible. We also noticed discrepancies between the menu in our room and the prices we were charged, which was frustrating.

While the Tropical Greens Smoothie, Chicken and Waffles, and latte were decent, they weren't anything to write home about. Overall, we'd say this spot is okay for a quick and convenient breakfast if you're staying at the hotel, but we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here. And we recommend steering clear of the chicken wings.
