Bottom Line

What we loved

  • Staff went above & beyond for our take-out order. They updated us frequently about the wait time. They even offered us glasses of water as we waited.

  • We ordered the half & half chicken (original and sweet chili). For $25 it was more than enough chicken to share.

  • The restaurant was 3 miles from the strip (a negative for some). It was easy to get to & there was plenty of parking.

What we did not like

  • This is nitpicking: we wished there was an option to sample more than 2 flavors with one "fried chicken" order.

  • When we arrived Sunday around 530pm, the parking lot was pretty empty. When we left 30 minutes later cars were circling the lot looking for a space, likely due to the number of restaurants located in the plaza.

Verdict

Jong-Ro Chicken was a fantastic find! We initially planned to try a different fried chicken spot, but we're so glad we stumbled upon this place instead. The staff went above and beyond for our takeout order, keeping us updated on the wait time and even offering us water while we waited. We ordered the half-and-half chicken (original and sweet chili), and for $25, it was more than enough for two. The chicken itself was delicious – crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

The restaurant is located about 3 miles from the Strip, which might be a drawback for some, but we found it easily accessible with plenty of parking. If we had to nitpick, we'd say it would be nice to have an option to sample more than two flavors in one order. Also, the parking lot got surprisingly busy while we were there, so be prepared for a potential wait for a spot. Overall, we were incredibly impressed with Jong-Ro Chicken and can't wait to return.
