Bottom Line

What we loved

  • The Cioppino is delicious, comparable to the staple dish in San Francisco.

  • Nice staff, fast service. We arrive with no dinner reservation & were seated after a 15-minute wait.

  • Great views. The restaurant is over South Virginia Ave, where the Atlantis camera is. Great views of the mountains & cars whizzing on the road underneath.

What we did not like

  • The restaurant is located in the casino & if you don't know about the entrance across the street, you will have to walk through the casino to access it.

  • The closest bathroom is downstairs in the casino.

  • There are slot machines lined on the opposite wall of the restaurant, emitting sounds that constantly remind you that you are in a casino.

Verdict

We were pleasantly surprised to find such delicious seafood inland! The Cioppino was a standout, rivaling those we've had in San Francisco. Despite arriving without a reservation, we were seated quickly, and the service throughout our meal was friendly and efficient. The restaurant boasts fantastic views of the mountains and the bustling street below, thanks to its unique location over South Virginia Avenue.

However, finding the entrance proved a bit tricky, as it's tucked away across the street from the casino. Also, be aware that the closest restrooms require a trip downstairs to the casino level.

Ultimately, we enjoyed our meal and found the portions generous – splitting two appetizers and an entrée was perfect for us. While the casino setting might not be ideal for everyone, the quality of the food and the stunning views make it worth considering.
