Bottom Line

What we loved

  • The room was ready at 13:30, greatly appreciated the early complimentary check-in.

  • In the middle of the strip, close to T-Mobile & Allegiant Stadium & many shops & restaurants.

  • Fast, efficient service. We asked for two extra pillows & a blanket during check-in & they were delivered promptly with a smile.

  • Great value, the room was listed for $119 per night plus $42 resort fee during a Tuesday check-in after Labor Day.

  • The room had plenty of amenities including a Nespresso machine, free water (a rarity in Las Vegas), robes, slippers, and a cloth laundry bag.

  • Keycard needed to access elevators, which is a great for a sense of security.

  • Overall liked the decor more than the sister property, Park MGM. Nomad is a good luxury option close to strip central at a lower price tag than compared to the Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria.

What we did not like

  • $42 daily resort fee that includes nothing: "In-room wireless internet access; unlimited local, domestic long distance (the 50 United States and DC) and toll-free calls; airline boarding pass printing; digital newspaper and magazine downloads through PressReader for duration of reservation; access to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME On Demand via in-room television; and fitness center access for guests 18+. Amenities, such as fitness center access, are subject to availability and guest demand."

  • TV remote was not working.

  • Wifi is horrendous, speed & connection drops frequently, evident while listening to a podcast that would stop intermittently. Speed test ranged from 2 mbps to 18 mbps.

Verdict

A Stylish Stay with Connectivity Concerns

The Nomad Las Vegas offers a luxurious experience in a prime location with commendable service and a reasonable price point. The early check-in, prompt room service, and abundance of amenities enhance the overall experience. However, the hefty resort fee with lackluster inclusions, coupled with the unreliable Wi-Fi, detract from the overall value.

Recommendation:

Despite the drawbacks, the Nomad Las Vegas presents a compelling option for those seeking a stylish and convenient stay on the Strip. However, guests should be aware of the resort fee and potential Wi-Fi issues.
